How it works

  1. Send us photos

    Front and back for singles, and a shot of the box showing the shrink for sealed product. A rough list helps if there is a lot of it.

  2. We quote you

    Usually the same day. We tell you what we can pay and why, based on what the cards are currently selling for rather than what they were worth at launch.

  3. Send them or drop them off

    Post them to us, or hand them over in person if you would rather not put something valuable in the mail.

  4. Get paid

    PayNow, once we have checked the cards match the photos. In person, that is the same visit.

What makes a collection easy to quote

The more we can see, the faster and better the offer. A few things genuinely help:

  • Sealed product with the shrink intact. It is worth more than an opened box and it is far quicker for us to verify.
  • Cards kept in sleeves. Condition is most of the value on a good single. Edge wear and surface scratches are the two things we cannot un-see.
  • Photos in daylight. Shop lighting hides whitening on the edges, which means a quote we have to revise downward when the cards arrive. Neither of us enjoys that.
  • Anything already graded. Send the cert number and we can check the population before we quote.

Being straight about the offer

We buy to resell, so what we pay sits below what the card sells for. That gap covers the risk that it sits in our display for six months and the possibility that the market moves against us while it does.

If you want full market value, selling directly to another collector will get you closer, and it will cost you the time, the listing, the messages and the risk of a buyer who disappears after you post. Plenty of people would rather have the money today. That is the trade we are offering, and we would rather say so plainly than pretend otherwise.

Questions we get asked

What do you buy?
Sealed product, singles and graded slabs, mostly Pokémon and One Piece. Sealed boxes and strong singles are the easiest for us to quote. We will look at bulk, but be aware that common cards in volume are worth much less per card than people usually expect.
How do I get a quote?
Send us photos on WhatsApp. For singles, a clear front and back of each card is enough; for sealed product, a photo of the box showing its condition and whether the shrink is intact. Tell us roughly what you are hoping to get and we will tell you straight away whether we are close.
How do you decide what to offer?
We look at what the card or box is actually selling for right now — completed sales, not asking prices — and offer a percentage of that. We are buying to resell, so the offer sits below retail. Anyone offering you full market value is either mistaken or not planning to pay.
Do I need to get my cards graded first?
Usually not. Grading costs money and takes months, and it only pays off on cards where the difference between a high and low grade is significant. If you have something where that applies, we will say so rather than quietly buying it ungraded.
How do I get paid?
PayNow once we have the cards in hand and have confirmed they match the photos. For anything substantial you are welcome to hand them over in person and be paid on the spot.
